wash + care for your towel poncho:
some helpful tips

All care instructions can be found on the label inside your poncho,

but here are a few extra tips to help keep it looking its best for years to come.

Spot clean when possible

For small marks or spills, we recommend spot cleaning instead of washing the entire poncho.

A damp cloth with a mild, natural detergent is usually all you need.

If machine washing...

We know life happens! If your poncho needs a full wash:

  • Wash on a cold, gentle cycle.

  • Wash with similar colors only. Avoid washing with dark or heavily dyed garments,
especially during the first few washes, as color transfer can occur.

  • Zip the zipper closed before washing to help protect it.

  • Avoid bleach or harsh stain removers.

Drying

To help maintain the softness of your poncho, you can tumble dry on the lowest or no-heat setting.

Please avoid high heat, as it may:

  • Shrink the fabric

  • Damage the zipper

  • Reduce the softness over time

Accidentally washed your poncho with colors?

If color transfer occurs, treat it as soon as possible—before tumble drying.

A color run remover or oxygen-based stain remover may help, but results cannot be guaranteed.
